National Institute of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj is a premier Institute of national and international repute in terms of capacity-building and research in the realm of Rural Development and related aspects. Centre for Natural Resources Management (CNRM), NIRDPR, Hyderabad proposes to engage the services of suitable candidates on temporary basis for the following project positions on contract. The details with regard to the remuneration, qualifications, experience, age, etc., are as follows:

Essential Qualifications:
Master’s Degree or equivalent in Rural Management/Forest Management/
Agriculture/Environmental Science/Natural Resource Management or a related field.
Experience:
1. 10 years in rural development with at least 5 years of management experience of projects/programs on natural resource management, climate adaptation, community planning, etc. Knowledge and application of climate change adaptation weather and crop advisory technologies and solutions in the agriculture sector is essential.
2. Demonstrated ability to work and manage a team of multidisciplinary specialists working from different locations is essential.
3. Excellent results focus and ability to lead a technical team at the Centre and state. Proficiency in English and Hindi is essential. Should have excellent documentation and report writing skills.

Essential Qualifications:
Master’s Degree or equivalent in Rural Management/Forest Management/Agriculture/Environmental Science/ Natural Resources Management or a related field.
Experience:
1. 8 years in rural development, with at least 5 years of experience in knowledge management and design and delivery of participatory approaches in capacity building programs for communities, project functionaries, etc. Strong team collaboration and technical leader ship skills.
2. Experience in agriculture sector is essential.
3. Exposure to climate change adaptation practice adopted in India would be desirable.
4. Should have ability to design training and capacity building modules, various
knowledge products for training, capacity building, knowledge management and dissemination skills.
5. Proficiency in English and Hindi is essential.
6. Should have excellent documentation and report writing skills.

Essential Qualifications
Master’s Degree or equivalent in Agriculture/ Environmental Science
Experience:
1. 8 years in rural development, with at least 5 years of experience in design and implementation of climate adaptation interventions through natural resource management with a focus on water, soil health management and agriculture is essential.
2. Experience/ exposure to community managed sustainable agriculture practices would be desirable.
3. Experience in participatory approaches to community planning for adaptation to climate change is essential.
4. Ability to work with state government functionaries at all levels is required.
5. Results focus and strong team collaboration and leadership skills.
6. Proficiency in English and Hind is essential.
7. Should have excellent documentation and report writing skills.
Note: Right candidate with above skill set from the state of Madhya Pradesh would be preferred.
